Common Questions
Can I use Aplas for free?
Absolutely! We offer a public plan that is great for open-source or public-domain projects. With this plan, you have all the functionality of Aplas, except that you can only publish to the public. If you wish to publish privately (within your organisation) you can try our standard and premium plans free for 30-days (no credit card required).
What is the difference between view and author users?
Author users create/maintain software indexes, maps, styles and create publications for consumption of view users. Ideally, you will have a lot more view users than author users, especially for larger volumes of users.
Do you offer annual subscriptions?
Yes, Standard and Premium plans are available with monthly or annual billing. Annual billing saves 17% (equivalent to 2 months free). You can select your billing period when signing up. Additional users beyond your plan allocation are billed monthly. Enterprise plans are billed annually with custom pricing.
What payment options do you accept?
Standard/premium plans: Monthly or annual payment via credit card. Enterprise plan: Annual upfront via invoice.
What if I'm not happy with my purchase?
Monthly billing: Cancel at any time. You will be billed for your current billing period. Annual billing: Cancel at any time. Your subscription remains active until the end of the annual period. Refunds are not provided for partial periods.
How are users counted towards billing?
Standard/premium plans: You can add and remove users. At the end of each month you will be billed for the number of users in the previous month. Enterprise plan: You are capped to a certain number of users. If users are not active in the previous 90-days, they will not count towards your cap.
